The Kinks with support act Sheriff, at the Veteran's Memorial Coliseum in New Haven, CT on June 6, 1983.
This was my first real concert - The Kinks were touring behind State of Confusion
, their "MTV" record, which contained the hits Come Dancing and the title track. I no longer have the ticket stub, don't have any photos and have never been able to scrounge up a recording. Oh yeah, my wife and I saw that show, our last at the Coliseum. Most of our shows were seen in the 70s: Sabbath w/Ozzie, Ted Nugent,Kiss w/ Uriah Heep as openers in 75 or 76, Jethro Tull twice,Moody Blues, Springsteen in 79 & 80. Have ticket stubs to the Kinks ($11.50!)and photos that I had taken from down near the stage (remember when you could wander around without being hassled?) Good times...
